Gyp
Age: 1
Breed: medium
Sex: Male (Neutered)
Location: Yorkshire
Bonded: No
Vaccinated: No

Description: Gyp is an 18 month old black male 'helicopter'lop, he has one ear up and one down! He is medium sized.

General health: Good. Gyp has been neutered, wormed and rear-guarded against flystrike. He has had a dental check which was clear of problems.

Gyp has to have a vitamin E caplet on his food once a week as he is vitamin E deficient, which can cause a condition known as floppy rabbit syndrome. Since starting with the supplement he has never relapsed and we do not expect him to.

The caplets are available in any pharmacy and cost about £2 for 30 weeks supply.

Temperament: Amazing. This little guy has a fabulous nature, he is so friendly, easy to handle and adores being petted. Gyp is a real character and loves to be around people and at the center of attention. He is actually rather 'dog like' in his behaviour and ill follow you about.

Type of home wanted: Gyp must be rehomed as a house rabbit. He is well adapted to this scenario and is litter trained. His foster mum commented on how clean he was!

We would like to see Gyp living with a neutered Doe but would consider rehoming him as a single bunny in a home where he got lots of attention.

He is used to dogs, cats and other rabbits.

Can you offer him a special home of his own in time for Christmas?

Gyp is being rehomed through a rescue. For more information or to enquire about adoption please contact:

Details: We are a self-funded rescue run from my home. We take in unwanted and abandoned rabbits and rehome them following neutering, worming and a vet check. In order for us to continue our work we ask for a minimum adoption fee of £30, which helps offset our neutering costs of £50. We ask all new owners to ensure there rabbits are vaccinated once they arrive in their new homes. We like to rehome rabbits as or into pairs but take each case on its own merits. We can also bond one of our rabbits into a pair with your own rabbit. If you would like anymore information about the rescue or any of the rabbits please contact us.
