POSTED FOR DEBBIE (ukbullmastiffs) This boy is urgently in need of a home not a kennel ..he is presently at a vets in derbyshire..they are holding him as he was brought into be pts and he is such a lovely boy they couldn't do it without first trying to rehome ..

can anyone help ..this is what i have from anna the vet nurse

Debbie, (ukbullmastiffs)
Here are the photos of Leo.
Further problem in the mix is that Leo is actually entire- I Know this makes it more difficult and we may end up not being able to rehome.
He is 8 and is being rehomed as the male owner died 12 mths ago and the elderly female owner is struggling with life in general. He is used to living in the house, and has been very clean in his kennel here and settles quickly. He has a wonderful nature, is good on the lead, sits for his dinner and loves to give paws. He is reportedly good with children, is good with other dogs on walks though hasn't lived with any other animals before.
He has had a toe amputated due to a malignant tumour in the last 18 months. He does have some wet eczema patches which are healing. Leo's vaccines have lapsed but we can restart them and fund them, no problem.
Thanks for your help, at least we know we have tried and I do agree that it isn't fair for him to spend the rest of his natural life span in kennels- he is just such a lovely chap.
Thanks again,
can someone please help this guy either permanent home or fostering

I will help -

I have had another 2 enquiries for my bullmastiff that debbie has rehomed for me.
Are the vets ok to keep him for a while, or do we need to get him into temporary boarding?

I have a good potential that may be interested - he is adoreable - don't let them pts him - we will pay for boarding for him if need be.

Can you email me?

or do i need to get intouch with debbie?

jacquie

Also Blue - there is a section further down for rescues urgently in need - i think that would be the best place to post it or anything like this in future, because i don't always get to see all the new info put up.

would you email strix and get her to put you to rescue status and then you can have it for mill rescue on here if that ok with maggie.

I got two mastiff's out from the pounds today

A female brindle mastiff bitch - and a female bullmastiff bitch.

Both gorgeous - the bullmastiff can hardly see cos of her entropians - but they managed to produce loads of puppies from her

poor babe.
will get some pics up of Nancy and Maisie soon

good luck Leo
