Ruby is a wonderful Standard American Bulldog bitch that is around 11 months old, Ruby came into rescue as she was handed into the local pound by her loving owners as they were having a baby and they felt it was not fair to Ruby, they were very upset about having to hand Ruby over.
It’s such a shame they were not bothered about Ruby’s health and diet! Ruby was fed a very poor diet as a puppy when she needed it the most, Her owners just stood by and watched poor Ruby grow with deformed feet due to lack of vitamins and minerals she was also crated for long periods of time so her muscles never got chance to develop correctly.
Ruby has now been in the care of Everythingpets Rescue for 4 months now and her feet are coming on in leaps and bounds, Ruby will have to be fed a good puppy food until she is around 2 ½ years old and will have to have restricted exercise.
Even though Ruby has a few problems this does not stop her from being an fantastic dog, she loves people and insists on a good fuss.
