The Dogs Trust will be present at The Education Show at Birmingham NEC, 28 Feb 08 to 1 Mar 08

Quote:
The Dogs Trust Education Programme teaches future dog owners about responsible dog ownership. Through our fun and educational website, and regional Education Officers who visit schools to provide interactive workshops, the programme promotes to children the importance of safety and responsibility around dogs. EO workshops are National Curriculum linked and teachers can download many of their resources from the website www.learnwithdogs.co.uk. Visit our stand and meet an EO, who can tell you all about the great workshops they offer, and pick up some free resources to use at your school.

I applied for the Dogs Trust to come to Rotherham and sheffield over 2 years ago. They promised they would

Yet again, we are still waiting - being at the pits of the animal welfare ratings down here in South Yorkshire - its so desperately needed to teach the kids of tomorrow if at all possible, and then they may train their parents too.

dream on.

that's part of the reason why Lotti was interested in taking Takara into schools and educating children as to how dogs should be handled and how you should behave around them
