It has come to light that one of the big names in 'pet rescue' has been bringing dogs into this country to satisfy the retail requirements of their rehoming centre. Now there is no reason to suppose they are not obtaining those dogs from rescue centres in the country they are bringing them in from, but if that is justification, then there is no commercial reason for not bringing pups straight into 'rescue' having bulk bought them from a puppy farm is there? logically speaking
If you knew a local rescue centre was bringing dogs into the UK to sell them, whilst local dogs were being PTS, would you donate to them?
The dog paper Dogs Today have run an article on the subject, and I urge anybody who has a view on the topic to write to them yourself, as they say they will continue to run with the story so long as there is interest in it
