Crufts isn't just a dog show for pampered pedigrees, it's a great place to meet and chat to dog breeds and their owners at Discover Dogs, shop at trade stands with every conceivable accessory and necessity for your dog (and for you!), and a number of stands for dog charities, including Greyhound Trust and PDSA (or you could drop in and let Vets Now know what you think of their services Wink ). See dogs of all breeds and mixes compete in agility and the good citizen competition, collect samples of foods and treats from the manufacturers, meet PAT dogs, hearing dogs and guide dogs

lists of stands at Crufts
NEC website

It may not be advertised on the website, but students do get a discount on the usual ticket price

Groups can get a discount too, so if you fancy going, it may be worth posting on this thread for which day you fancy going, and see if we can organise a group!

Top tip if you're attempting to get to Crufts - park at a local train station such as Hampton in Ardsley and you won't have the traffic to battle through, the parking is cheaper, and the train station is a shorter walk to the halls than the carparks at the NEC are!!!

there are also auxiliary car parks with a coach service to the Halls

I bet they get lots of donations at those stands, but i also bet they have to pay a pretty penny for them too.

Only those with money can usually afford to do it, and also its usually just the national ones that get donations rather than local ones i bet.

if only there was one for the small ones to dish it around - that would help a bit
