Hello everybody!

Just thought I would come on here as a boxer rescue lady told me to come and join!

I live in Addingham which is near Ilkley and I am a bit of an animal fanatic!

My animals consist of a golden retriever called Maggie, a great dane which i rescued a year ago called Tess, a lurcher pup (which I rescued from the pound a month ago) called Holly, a snake called Naboo, 2 spur thighed tortoises called Flo and Amos and 2 english lops called Molly and Buggerlugs!

In addition to this lot I have a loving partner and we have 4 children between us - PHEW!!!

Anyway, that is me - I shall hopefully be putting a lil ad on here for my current rescue Holly as she is in top health after being rescued and is ready for rehoing!

Thanks for reading! Wink

Welcome aboard Ratface Smile

it sounds like you have quite a houseful there!!

have you seen the dog in at Cliffe kennels Barnsley (on the main Rain Rescue website) who they have listed as an unidentified breed?
I'd lay money on mostly boxer - what do you think?

Yeah she does look like she has some Boxer in her!

Its really difficult going to the kennels as you just want to come away with all of them and foster them until a new home is found but you just cant can you?

I got Holly out of there as I didnt want the kennels affecting her too much as she is so young - I will post an ad on here for her shortly as she is such a lovely girl, so energetic, i'm sure someone would give her a home. The problem is it is so easy to take a puppy on and then afterwards realise how much work they are and so we are wanting to find the right home for her. Rolling Eyes

I know! When I visited Sheffield pound I was amazed to see how many dogs looked like they were more lost than strayed, and how hard they all tried to tell me they just wanted to be let out so they could go home Crying or Very sad

Ratface - did you find hera new home?

If ever you do take a dog in from a pound - and its for rehoming, you can always email us on the admin@rainrescue.co.uk and we will put it on there for you

we just need a few details like if you are rehoming it yourself, or under another rescue or whatever

glad she has turned round and that you have helped out
