Lilly and Liquorice are a pair of Lionhead rabbits, Lily came to me a couple of years ago from a rescue in manchester along with her "husband" clover, they had been used as a breeding pair and had lived all of their lives in a stable without light Sad luckily for Lily she proved to be a bad mum so was unwanted.
I kept Lily and clover always meaning to get them neutered so that they could live together, then one morning disaster struck... my plan was never to be, I found Clover dead in his hutch Sad he had not been ill and all was as it should have been the day before, I was devastated and I felt so guilty that they had never got to have the happy life together that I had planned, I felt so bad that I had pretty much made up my mind not to have any more rabbits and let Lily go to a new home where she could be paired with another friend.
Feeling sorry for myself I posted about Clovers death on another forum, then was suprised to be approached by Sooz who had another Lionhead rabbit male coming into her rescue, at first I wasn't sure, but Sooz persuaded me that I could still achieve what I had wanted to do for Lily and Clover but now do it for this new rabbit.
When I saw Liquorice I was over the moon he is such a lovely rabbit, and after a false start due to my lack of rabbit bonding skills (sorted by Sooz, she is fantastic) Lily and Liquorice are now "husband and wife" and live really happily together, anyone who has a single rabbit... you don't know what your missing two are so much fun, and it's great to see the way that they interact and cuddle up.

Very Happy Yes sooz does a fantastic job with her bunnies, I am so grateful to sooz for getting them bonded... I would have made a proper mess of it left to my own devices Hehe

Very Happy He really has, it makes me happy to see them so happy together, and Liquorice is such a lovely rabbit, he is a right character, and much more confident than Lily... they are really funny they take it in turns chasing each other up and down the garden, but its always Liquorice that manages to escape me when I have to fetch them in Suspicious when Lily is worried he cuddles right into her he is really protective Love
