How dare you !! insinuating Choco smells, and that coming from the hand that saved his life, I'll have you know old gentlemen is very peachy he has his own nurse, that takes care of his personal hygiene daily.
That isn't his proper bed he just came out to pose for the camera.

No naughty Mr Brude there aren't any frogs in the pond just fish, the frog pond is further down the garden, with a little fence to keep naughty doggy noses OUT.

Japanese cos when out walking and major sniffing they don't understand English and I don't speak Japanese. Very Happy

Brude's not naughty with frogs - he's very gentle!! it only takes the most careful two-toed poke to persuade a frog to bounce in your face Mr. Green he's so gentle that some of his pokes miss by a few millimeters Razz

wrt deafness whilst out - this is a genetic fault with the beagle. their ears are actually an extension of their scent tracking equipment, trapping smells around their muzzle ready for inhalation. I'm assuming these valuable pieces of equipment aren't multi-tasking, so if they are hounding after a scent, you haven't a hope in hell of impressing a sound between those ears!!

All this talk of frogs reminds me that one of my brood emptied my mothers fish pond completely of all her frogspawn - My mum was quite upset - but thought there was something lacking in his diet ! Apparently it is quite nutritious !
