Hiya - me again, don't worry I won't be posting these requests that often!!!

We are trying to move a 13mth akita Male from Wigan to Gretna, where he will be met by his new owners and taken further North. He needs to be in Gretna for 2.30pm tomorrow, any help or suggestions gratefully received -

oh yes - I think it's normal akita coat - may leave a bit of fur behind but generally good condition, travels well as far as i've been told.

Tomorrow? Shocked that's a bit short notice Confused

I'd have been suggesting maybe get in touch with vets along the route who may know of volunteer drivers in their areas, but it's a bit late for that

have you contacted the akita rescue? can any of their members help out?

if you're feeling cheeky - you could try phoning doglost and see if they'll do an email for you to their volunteers in appropriate areas, but I don't know how they'll respond

Hiya, sorry I didn't see your reply Strix, must have gone past it last time I logged on!

Louie went up to his new home at the weekend, and by all accounts is settling in well. It was a shame he didn't go the first week as we managed (thanks to a lot of people Smile) to get everything in place.....

ah well. Vikki x

oh well - it's best dogs arrive in their new home when they have the best chance of settling in isn't it? Wink

I'll edit your title so we know it's no longer needed Smile
