A very disturbing story

It'll be interesting to find the outcome of the investigation into the original owner of this dog

A good case for clamping down on backyard breeding - not the blanket ban on the rottweiler as a family pet!

This is so terrible for rotties - and yes there are problems with some of the dogs. Its often due to the numbskulls that end up keeping this breed in the most atrocious conditions, and using them for terrible things.

the worst thing is that the mouth of a rottie can do terrible damage.

I already know of 15 rotties in just 2 pounds. everyone will be dumping them and thinking they are all scarey beasts

I totally agree that this should be a monitored breed - anyone who owns one should be licensed and made to attend well registered and decent training classes.
Not that the breed should be banned or classified - just to try and reduce the idiots that end up opening them and making them into these agressive dogs.

no doubt even more rots will be dumped in the future.

Also, if this type of headline news continues - dog legislation in this country is just going to follow the way of america.

Dogs will NOT EVER BE ALLOWED OFF LEAD IN ANY PUBLIC PLACE. they will open ****** dog parks, and thats the only place you an let your dog off which is horrendous/

we have to act responsibly now, curb the agressive dogs, and make sure the owners are made to be responsible for their dogs actions.

poor lady my heart goes out to her, it must have been terrifying.
