As Hoochie was asking if it was possible to use our signature banners on emails, a friend has kindly translated the necessary code for us

Code:

<a href="http://www.rainrescue.co.uk/35.html"><img src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e393/SFStrix/RainRescueForum/freedonatebanner2.gif"></a>

let me know if it works Hoochie - and you may need to select to enable HTML instead of 'plain text' Thumbsup

Edited by Strix: code finally fixed. Thank you Zars!

I know I'm a pest Embarassed but, I just can't get the link to work on my ordinary messages. I did have html enabled but it still doesn't want to play - it must be something really obvious that I'm not doing so I'll go off and try again Smile

oops - sorry - still trying to get this to post properly on the forum!!

did you remove the first bracket and replace it with the correct one?

does it work now?

oh, and you need HTML enabled in your email, rather than just 'plain text' Thumbsup

Just to let you know - I have eventually got the 1p per click banner to work on my ordinary messages - with a little help, well lots of help actually Embarassed

In the end I swapped over to using Outlook for my messages rather than the bog standard Windows Mail and all was ok, then that played up too and wouldn't send any messages out, but all is well at the mo Thumbsup

Thank you everyone for all your help Thumbsup

Thank you SOOOOO much for that banner - that looks real cool

bet my daughter nicks that one

i only use msn now and hate that most of the time

outlook crashed and i had never worked out how to back it up and restore it properly - it just seemed to keep taking loads of backups and filling up my mail box
so i lost all my contacts and all my emails

what a nightmare

ii now seem stuck with msn and i don't think you can use fancy banners like that in that horrible thing can you?

thanks once again for joining us
